Basic advice needed for a rookie
Basic advice needed for a rookie , Basic advice needed for a rookie , Basic advice needed for a rookie , Basic advice needed for a rookie Hello boys and girls. This may be my first post but I've read these forums every time I'm in the market for a new device so thanks for that.
Anyway, I'm looking for a new sound system, primarily for use with my computer and I'm wondering if going down the home cinema route would be a good idea. I had a Logitech Z2300 2.1 hooked up but managed to blow the sub...not sure if it's not very good or if I did it too loud. Sound was pretty good but I'm looking for better. My current set up (which is likely to remain) is my PC and a PS3 hooked up to my 32" LG LH3000. Sound quality and power is the most important thing for me - picture quality is all but irrelevant. Firstly, do you think I'm best off sticking with computer systems given my criteria? It's just I'm struggling to find many good alternatives. I'm a bit immature in that the most important thing is the bass power. I'm in student halls and we're still at the unfortunate stage where we think that it's cool to shake your room almost to the point of demolition. What sort of thing should I be looking for if I wanted to re-arrange things in my room without actually touching anything? At the moment I'm just looking for the one with the highest subwoofer RMS output as I really don't know what I'm doing.. Came across the LG H902TB - LG HT902TB - and I have to say I quite like the look of them. Any guidance whatsowever would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance! |
